Background


This project develops ride-through technology of a cap-less inverter fed by three-phase diode rectifiers, such as power ride-through, kinetic energy back-up, and soft restarting at momentary power interruption. In order to prevent the drive from tripping at a momentary power loss or power failure, the drive detects a momentary power loss or power failure immediately when it occurs, and continues control using the regenerative energy from the motor or decelerates to a stop or restart from a free-running frequency.
