Background

This technology transfer project develops position sensorless-controlled AC motor drives for electric oil pump unit of vehicles to deal with the high speed operation under battery voltage variations and load changes with temperature. The drives enhance the system efficiency and fast command tracking capabilities compared to the mechanical oil pump unit.
